We had a really cute rootin tootin cowboy ward Christmas party tonight. Our friends, the Haight's are the new activities committee chairs..and they did such a great job! We've been excited all week to dress up like our Texas cousins and go to a real cowboy hoe-down! Max asked me all day long if it was time to wear our cowboy stuff yet...here's what the littles wore:

I was so excited to find Ivy's boots in max's old clothes bin..woo hoo! and the hat from the dollar store...it passes, right, Texans? We pilfered through the dress-up box and happened to find a couple of Paw Paws old Hankies...don't tell him that we have them!

Max also got to be in the Nativity this year as he's been a Sunbeam...He got to be a wiseman. Grandma Mousser sent us his costume, but awesome Sister Moffett loaned him his awesome three kings of oreintar purple head wrap. It was my favorite!

Here he is with his two wise buddies treking in from the east...

And of course Santa came to visit...and gave the littles candy canes which won them over instantly.
