A Shout-Out to Sue Bentz

Dear Sue,
I stipled.
{is that how you spell that?}
This was my second attempt, and it turned out way better than my first! After your quick tutorial in the library during sunday school, and about 1 1/2 years later, I attempted, and I LOVE it!

thanks for teaching me!

oooooh! how did you do that?! I am teaching myself how to quilt while making a tshirt quilt for John out of his old fraternity shirts. I am looking for an easy way to actually quilt it that I can't screw up....any suggestions would be WONDERFUL!!!

gorgeous! i've wondered how to "stiple" for a while now too. very cool autie. did you need a special attachment for your sewing machine?

Les...The easiest that I've done so far is just to "stitch in the ditch" you just use a walking foot, and quilt right on top of your seams that you created with each T-shirt...can't mess it up!
Ivy...I used a darning foot coupled with a little shield that blocked my feed dogs from working...that enabled me to move back and forth freely...I was able to just take my regular foot off, and reattach the darning foot.
