We went to a couple of neighborhoods close to home this year, one that we hadn't been to before. And although it had been and is still raining like the dickens, our Christmas light viewing didn't disappoint! But dispite all of the lights blinking to Christmas tunes, every lawn covered with batting to look like snow and every square inch of every house covered with colored lights and humongous blow up snowmen and snowglobes, etc etc etc...these were our favorite:
exhibit a: {the moose}

"the Moose" is really some kind of elk or buck antlers on a tree branch that has been whittled down to look like a deer head with huge antlers...we pass it when we go to my great aunt Bette's house, and Ivy always requests to see 'the moose' even when we're not going that way....my kids love the moose...Max insists it's a buck, Ivy insists that it's a moose...happy! anyway, for Christmas they wrapped his antlers with lights, attached a few more reindeer and gave him a Rudolph-red-nose. That was the kids fav...must admit, I like him, too! It's even fun to look at when he's not turned into rudolph! so fun.
But, here's my favorite...hee hee...the Grinch's bum.

that makes me laugh...
fa-who-forays, da-who-dorays, welcome Christmas, bring us cheer!
{or whatever those words are}
