Valentines Wreath

Crafternoon strikes again!
We got a head start on V-day, and made a wreath while sitting outside on the grass together. I got this idea from Gardner Village, while I was in Utah this past summer...we tweaked it a little, but I think it's sooo cuuute!

This is our Valentines version...

This is what the one at Gardner Village looked like this summer...I took this picture on my phone, and have been scheming about Valentines Day ever since!!!

I definately think Cali is the place for you. You are full of non stop fun! The afternoon trip to Disney sounds like a blast. I also love your wreath, and your crib turned out adorable, fit for an Ivy! Max is getting so big my kids didn't even recognize him. Hope to see you guys soon!

Goodness gracious! You did it again! Now the question is how? I think you need to start a craft blog that you just teach all of us non-crafty peeps how to jazz up our homes.

Just ribbon tied in knots pushed real close together? Tied onto what?

K-- a bumch of people have asked me how I did it...and, Amanda...I can't ever respond to you because I don't have your email address, so hopefully you'll read this!
I got the wreath form at JoAnns...just a regular old frame that you'd make a Christmas wreath with. It's wire and has basically 4 concentric circles hooked together. We tied ribbon around 2 at a time, so we did 2 rows of ribbon knots! hope that helps!
ps... cut the ribbon after you tie the knot, not before!! and don't forget the fray-check!
