This is the grape seed that Max stuck in his ear
it looks small, but don't be fooled. Cut a dime in half...that's your grape seed. The stinkin' thing!

Max has NEVER put random things in random holes. But while we were staying at Steve and Becky's house, snacking on grapes, he decided to put one in his ear hole. He told me immediately, and we went to Steve's urgent care (on stapley and baseline, if you need it) just to figure it out. Sure enough, it was there, and if he hadn't stuck it in his ear, we wouldn't have known about his ear infection...that's also a first! He'd been great, as far as I was concerned, and would never have taken him to the doctor otherwise.
Anyways, Max is getting a pretty impressive chart in that good ole pediatric urgent care in Gilbert, lucky for us, as far as California is concerned, we're as healthy as can be! hee hee.
I wonder what's going to happen to max at Thanksgiving? (knock, knock, knock on my desk).

What a silly willy! Glad you could get help!
My Daughter Marlee once stuck an eye shadow applicator (the tip) up her nose. For three weeks we couldn't figure out why her breathe smelled so nasty. She was 2 1/2 so we taught her to say "I have Halatosis (sp?). The she blew her nose while I was helping her and she blew the nasty applicator out. Pretty gross-she was placed on antibiotics and all was well once again. Glad Max told you guys!
Yikes! I'm afraid of the day Christian starts sticking stuff in his nose and ears. Glad to hear it all worked out okay.
I'm LOVING your new blog header. Once again, did you use Picasa? Maybe I just have a lame version of Picasa -- do you use the webbased version and login each time? I can't figure out how to do anything like that. Even better though are your family pictures! I'm so jealous! I want family beach pics! Ha, not gonna happen here in Northern Va. Although now I'm wishing I'd taken more when we were on the beach in Mexico last week....
