For our second year in a row, we celebrated Noon Years Eve...just before nap time. BUT because my watch was still set to California time, we celebrated it technically at 1:00PM, Mountain Standard Time...Noon, Pacific Time.
i love it when I'm blonde.
We did the celebratory banging of the pots at "nammie's house" as Ivy calls it. Neither little was interested in wearing fun hats or dressing up...whatever, dudes.
We went to a YUMmy dinner at Freddys and had a really good burger.
AND then...luckily, Uncle Steve got fireworks for Christmas, as it was officially legal in Gilbert, AZ to light off fireworks for the first time in years....woo hoo! Max did his first sparkler for about 10 seconds...didn't enjoy it. this is him trying to give it back to me. Aahh!
I think Ivy was still a little off. She preferred to stay inside with grammie, but we did get a pic with Julie before she went inside.
and then I took a lesson from my niece, Aimee {though she doesn't know} and with some advise from Kaite, was able to take some fun pictures with the sparklers...woohoo, it was fun!

After the kids went to bed, we watched a movie with Steve and Becky's fam and Grandma and Grandpa.
It was a great, chill night! i loved it.
