I feel like I've been so busy lately...going from one thing to another, but with nothing all at the same time. But, as always, I've had a few projects finished up, so I thought I'd post them!
I found this dresser in the dumpster by our old apartment. It was old-school dark brown with the most hideous clown paper lining the drawers. Of course, I didn't take any before pictures {i hate myself} but here is an after picture--are you shocked I didn't bust out the black paint on this sucker?!? I actually used some FREE paint I got from Ucreate a while ago...such a fun project! I have more stuff waiting for me that's halfway done...get excited!

Project night was last night for our ward...My friend Laura posted on her blog about how cute this project was from Pottery Barn...and so hello...I HAD to do it! So, a couple of girls and I made little Valentine Envelopes to hang on the back of our kitchen chairs to put their Valentine goodies in. :)

So, I guess we've been hibernating, but not really...working on Valentines and the artist-formerly-known-as-enrichment stuff, preschool, and all the other fun stuff. ps...it is pink week...I'll post about that later!

The dresser looks awesome! I love the color you chose. And those envelopes are really cute!
good job on the dresser and i can t wait to finish my envelopes... hopefully before valentines! see ya in a few..
Still love the dresser. I havn't seen those envelopes yet. Just the pouches. In my efforts to keep things simple I put that on next years schedule. But now I'm glad I did because I think I like then thinner envelope better.
The dresser turned out so cute! You and Lauren are so crafty, you girls rock, love ya both!
I love the dresser! Did you paint it black first then use paint thinner? So much work but so worth it. I am so sad about the valentines envelopes. I want to do them still.
GRrrrrrreat job on the chest of drawers. Love the color and the job...someone would be amazed to see their old chest looking so good!
Such cute Valentine envelopes! Those will get lots of fun use over the years as you set that cute tradition each year on the kids' chairs!!!!! GO...AUTIE!!!
