The Castle Park in Irvine
This huge playground was only about 20 minutes away...not just around the corner, but an awesome park to switch stuff up every now and again! We met Kali and Tatum there...that's always fun! This playground has a huge cinderblock castle built in it, with tons of play equipment around it...Max was a hero saving the 2 princesses...
Cool, huh?...plus way more!
The kids went on a tire swing...I don' t think Max has ever really gone on one of these...he loved it:
Max loves Kali and Tatum

Even Ives got in on the action...I had to put her down to put Max in...I was hoping she wouldn't fly through a leg hole...hee hee. All was well.
In the PM we went to Sweet Spot Bakery at the Spectrum to celebrate my friend Kim's birthday...we had fun and then afterward, we were able to go see Kim's new apt...and hang out for a little while. I miss you, friend!
Sweet Spot is a place that you can go and decorate your own cupcakes...pick your pastry, your frosting...and all your toppings are unlimited! Here are Max's topping choices...
Max decorating: he picked pink (his favorite color), by the way. The teenage girls behind us in line thought he was hilarious!
