April Fools Day & Ivy's Birthday

Holy cow, I'm sitting here right now thinking that this morning, we had a tent set up in our living room so that we could watch conference, which immediately turned into birthday present central and I feel like we've done a ton today!  Sheesh
After watching the entire morning session (shocker!!!!) Jillonnie and her kids came over and brought Ivy a really cute birthday present: an empty puzzle box.  All wrapped up nice and pretty.  Ivy actually liked it.  ha ha.
Then, she got doorbell ditched several times minutes after they left with a couple of balloons each time filled with goodies...including all of the missing puzzle pieces.  Fun little April Fool's and Birthday trick!  she loved it!  Here is her popping her balloons:
Then, Jeff was planning on going to work, so we did 'partial birthday'...and she got to open her presents!
Which was an extreme case of rip open a package, squat & drop, and then move on to the next one...didn't matter how cool it was, there was no opening and playing involved between each one.  Whatever, dude.  She got a lot of fun things!

She got a fun new book, that I'm going to need some tutelage to read properly, but it's super cute!
That trickster, Jillonnie, then brought over special juice for my kids to drink with their lunch...she felt bad for them that I never give them juice, and they were pumped!
it turned out to be un-suckable Jello...awesome!
Here's the newest 3-year-old on the block!
and then, because I tried to burn down the house by making a princess-castle shaped bundt cake, we resorted to good ole Albertson's making Ives a princess cake...which she probably like better than she would have liked my other one!

and apparently, the best way to eat ice cream, is like it's a cookie...just so you know.
Happy Birthday, Ives!
