First of all, last week, something quite fundamental occured. I was going about my day as usual, and was on my way to Sonic to get my usual DC +V, route 44 style, of course, and to get Max his usual Water on the Rocks...My Favorite, Megan, handed me our drinks and I pulled up to the gargage can to toss in the straw wrappers. While I was there, there was no one behind me in the drive-thru, so I whipped out my handy-dandy permanent marker to write my name on the cup. YOu might think I'm weird that I go to Sonic everyday...but there are others. Don't be alarmed. Anyways, so I usually write autie or ae because that's what I'm used to, but something crazy happened...I wrote: "mom." Ha! Obviously, I've been a mom for a while now...it's not a new thing...and I do refer to myself as mommy on a regular basis...but that was the first time that I had written it down, without thinking about it, in reference to who I am...so everyone else would know whos drink it was. CRA-Z...
Secondly, I got my hair cut on Saturay...I have an amazing friend who cuts a mean hair cut. She's rad! If you couldn't tell from my sick-nasty hair on Easter Sunday (hence the raunchy picture) I was in desperate need...So, maybe one day someone else will be holding the camera, and I can post a picture of me with my new short hair: so fun!
Third...We went to the park with Max's friend Rylee today to feed the ducks and play on the toys and Max got his first skinned knee. So fun! A milestone for a little boy like a first black eye (check--he got in a fight with the red gingham chair at grandma mousser's) or the first time he wipes his muddy hands either on his shirt, or Mine...(check). I tried to take a picture, but alas, I have a wiggle-y one, so they all turned out blurry, and now you have a post with no picture. Sorry 'bout it...

Happy Easter!
We had an easter extravaganza this last weekend!!! Holy Cow, we started off with the ward easter egg hunt:
Max's first official hunt. The nursery kids got to go first, and thank goodness. We put him down with directions to be aggressive. We said Ready, he said "dough" (which means go) and he was off. He passed a dozen eggs or so before he stopped to pick up one of his favorite color: pink. Then passed several more dozen before he found a blue one. After that, it was oh, look, mommy's chasing me, let's run! But he was so cute, and daddy was able to be with us for that one. Daddy headed off to scout, scout, scout, so Max and Mommy drove down to our beloved Maricopa (We really do miss it) where our friend Tara had an Easter Carnival for several friends. We had a picnic, an egg hunt, snow cones, waterbaloon volleyball, bean bag toss and smack kirk in the head with a wet sponge. Max was a little bit more competitive with this egg hunt, but we'll have to practice hunting for next year. His favorite was waterballoon volleyball which we'll have to play for his birthday party this year. It was an absolute ball!!!! Holy Saturday!!! So the Easter bunny came that night and dropped off some fun books and goodies for Max, we went to Church as usual and then had Egg hunt number 3 with cousins and Grandma. Max has so much fun with his cousins! They are all so fun with him, and it's nice to not have to worry so much about what he's doing all the time because he's constantly being entertained. It was a non-stop party, but we hope that we were still able to remember the reason that we celebrate Easter every year, and we are forever grateful for the sacrifice of our Savior. Happy Easter, Everyone!
It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!
I'm so excited because I have been waiting for this time for an entire year... Christmas in Arizona is not the best...but when the orange blossoms come out, it's absolute heaven. Every time you go outside, you feel like you're in hawaii!!! It is the most amazing smell, and if it is ever replicated into a candle, or room spray, I must be the first to know! I could smell this smell all day, every day for the rest of my life. I LOVE it!!
Any one wanna come over and smell?

SoO fUnnY!
Just a quickie for right now, but Max and I had so much fun the other day, that I wanted to post a picture of him real fast. His new fav is Monster Trucks (RaAaHh!) and Daddy took him to the mall on Wednesday night while mommy was at Young Women's and got him a new truck of his choosing. He LOVES the dang thing, and it's so fun! It's a total monster because it actually crawls over things after you push it. Whatever. So we were outside playing and I started chasing Maxer and stopping right in front of him and when he laughs so hard nothing else can function. He stops dead in his tracks (as his doing here) and hardly makes a noise. His little rabbit teeth craaaaack me up, and his laugh makes me sooo happy. He's such a fun little guy to be around! We love to laugh!March 19, 2008
(not-so) March Madness
Max got a haircut Sunday…so sad, so long spikes…for now. He's still cute, don't worry! We made it through with a blue sucker and the promise of a tubby right after. Haircuts are not Max's favorite thing.
We also got to go horse-back riding this week. Mommy's friend Taras dad has horses out in Queen Creek: Max, Ruby and Brownie. Max got to ride all three of them. Max and his friends took turns riding around the pasture. Max went a couple of times with mommy and a couple of times all by himself: with mommy holding onto his leg from the ground. He loved it!! Best thing, though was a big old tractor…he couldn't get enough of it. Anyway, hopefully we get to go again soon! So fun! We also got to see Great Aunt Bette at Booboos house. Max was a little crazy because we'd just been riding horses and it was close to bed time, so he wasn't on his best behavior, but at least we got to see her. Everyone in our house had the flu this weekend…ahhhhhh! Started with Grandpa, Grandma and Max…then Daddy…then Mommy. Luckily it was staggered, but still no fun…we lysoled everything, so we should be non-contagious…ewww! We hate being sick!Max loves these dumb little movies from wal-mart about trucks. We have two of them with three different shows: Stinky, Raaaah and Ho-Honk!!! Translation: Garbage Trucks, Monster Trucks and Big Rig Trucks…I am so sick of the darn things, I keep telling Max that I don't know where they are. My saving grace is "Baby" The baby mormon movie that Brandy gave max…phew!!! Its fun to watch that one with him because he says everything that he knows when it comes on the screen…all the colors, birdies, sharks, kittys…he counts when they count. SO fun! Anyway, that's the lastest and greatest…ttfn.

SkIrtS
Hey...my VIP, Tara and I had a sewing extravaganza last week and these stinking cute skirts are the product of our genious! With the help of Cheryl, tara and I are on a roll! These are the four that I've made so far...I'm so excited! They had little ties that coordinate and the ruffles are so fun! Anyway, I think Tara's going to start selling them...so this is just to make your mouths start watering! Way fun, get excited! Let me know what you think!!!
Just Another Week
Last week, we finally got back into going to the zoo again. We went with Michele and Baby Bryce...oh, my, does max love Baby Bryce. Anytime he sees anything baby he says: "oooooh, baby, bryce...oooooh." It's fun that he remembers him even though were not around them all the time...wish we were Michele!!
Sunday Max went to Nursery at church for the first time without crying when mommy left. I was so proud of him because he’s getting to be such a big boy. But, he figured out a trick: he is quite a tenacious fellow! If he poops during nursery, he will swiftly be escorted out to find mommy or daddy…or grandma for that matter, and he has the possibility of not going back!!! He has pooped two weeks in a row.
He also went to a friend’s second birthday partythis week, Gage Robbins. He had such a fun time! He bounced in a huge blow-up bouncy house, played duck, duck, goose…but really had no idea what was going on. Luckily he was never the goose…and hot potato. Actually, he really just went down Gage’s slide and played in his pirate ship sandbox. He was so cute interacting with all the other little kiddos running around. And SHOCKER…Max ate a piece of cake and ice cream!
Another event of the week was Cousins Brett and Cameron came over with Uncle Todd to work on their Pinewood Derby Cars. Max knows “Butt and Bubba” and enjoys saying their names every time we walk past their picture…which is quite often because they’re on the door exiting our room. Bubba and Brett played with him so much, he had a really good time kickin’ it with the boys, and Uncle Todd gave him a really cool car that rolls--even on carpet...sheesh! It was otherwise a pretty uneventful week. BUT…words of the week are a
s follows:
Pretty, Big Boy…yes, he said two words in a row, of course he says: mmmmmm, nummy anytime he sees any speck of food. When he sees a bee, he says just that: a bee! And he’s been saying the alphabet as follows: A-D-C-D- E-eh-G. He mostly sings just the EFG part when he sees letter stickers. He’s also been working on counting. Two, Fi, EEt, Ni! (translation: 2, 5, 8, 9) He’s a genius…just warning all of you. We love to watch him grow! PS...here is the dang cute picture of Max's new Chucks that we spoke of last week...They are about a size too big, but they are cute. We're on the look out for some bad-to-the-bone black shirts, or at least shirts with some black to match...any ideas??? Blah blah blah...not much happened this week, so it's just a mess of my babble...sorry 'bout it.

Jeff and I are playing catch up on what Max has been up for the past 2 months. He’s growing so fast, wearing 2T size clothes and size 6 1/2 shoes. He just got a pair of black Chuck Taylors that are the stinkin’ cutest thing. I just need to find some more black shirts to go with them. He’s talking so much, and really understands what we’re saying when we talk to him. An example is tonight, Max was ready for bed, but we needed to clean up the box of trucks…but he was more into playing with them then helping clean up. Mommy took him in the back room and told him that because he was the one that dumped the trucks out, he needed to help clean them up, and that mommy and daddy would love to help…he went right in and helped clean up the trucks by the handful. He’s just such a good listener. Some new words…some might be old news…are Temple, Jesus, blue, pink (his favorite color…), party, potty, guys, shoe, nee nee (daddy taught him what his weenie is…and he calls it nee nee), tubby, peepee, Adee, Bryce, poop, Rylee, Elmo, Ernie, Bert, Manny (his favorite TV show is Handy Manny), Bunny, Toot Toot (his little elephant stuffed animal), ball, outside, yeah (which comes out as ‘da’…we think his Russian) More (sounds like Mow-ee), teeth, and a menagerie of other words. So much fun! We love to go to the zoo, and to the park and play on the big toy slides and swings. Max is a pro at wooden puzzles, coloring, building lego towers, drawing on magna doodles…and erasing and making ‘tato guys’ which is Mr. Potato Head. He especially loves the big red nose that comes with Tato…and pretty much just builds nose guys. It’s magical to watch him build a tall, tall tower with legos, or to watch him stick an arm in the tato, he’s still so little, but just ‘gets stuff’. I don’t know how else to put it. He loves to dance…any time he hears any bit of music, he breaks it down. He can sing E I E I O, and Baa baa black sheep, and can fill in the words to a couple nursery rhymes such as Hey Diddle, diddle and Sing a Song of Sixpence, which happens to be his favorite because the tweet tweet comes down and gets his nose.
We abandoned the bottle (bot-sie) 17 months, and Max goes down great for naps and ni-ni, which means night- night as long as mommy and daddy sing 3 songs about Jesus or Nephi and say family prayer. We love to watch him grow and are amazed at how big he is getting, he’s so grown up. Max is really lucky to have so much time with Grandma and Grandpa Mousser, he loves every minute…it’s never boring around here!

Max's Sledding Debut

Look, Daddy, no hands!!! We got to go sledding with Jer, Er and Adee...Baker slept in the car the whole time. Max loved it!! His snow suit covered his mouth most of the time, so you couldn't see how big he was smiling, but he LOVED it! We've had such a fun time in Massachusetts! Max enjoys eating all the snow he can get his mouth on. We miss Daddy, but we're having a blast!

I Know Him!!!
Massachusetts!
Max and Mommy took a trip to Massachusetts for the month of January to visit our fun cousins Adee and Baker! There was snow when we got here, so we have been able to play at the playground and in the snow and lots of other fun things. Max loves to swing, to go down huge twisty slides by himself, and play on the teeter-totter with mommy against his Aunt Erin and Adee. He also loves to eat the snow...and if he can't grab a handful, he's happy to stick his nose in the snow to get a lick or two...don't worry, we haven't seen any yellow snow yet. We are super excited that Max forgets that he's wearing a hat after a few minutes of struggle and leaves it on when we're in the snow. The trick is to put the mittens on first to dis-arm him, and the hat last, leaving him pretty much helpless at getting it off. Max has also sprouted the beginnings of 1 of 4 molars that are popping in ever so slowly and ever so menacingly...darn molars! We're learnging a bunch of new words and signs including Adee, Tubby and signing Help. Max also loves to play Tato (That's what Adee calls Mr. Potato Head). We'll update again...

Zoo Guys
We are weekly zoo go-ers, and the last few times, Daddy has been able to go with us, which is soooo fun! and when Daddy is there, there's no place like the top of his shoulders for Maxer! He loves it as you can see. Max's favorite animals at the PHX zoo are the elephants, of course, and the Rhinos. We love the zoo!!!1

Hairy Scary Tree
Per the request of Erin and Brandy(my cute sisters)...this is the table from my hairy-scary Scentsy party...I was telling them about my tree branch that I spray-painted black. It was so cute! And...my spiderweb cupcakes. Anyways, Halloween decorations are so fun!!!! Mom and Grama were a BIG help getting ready!
Rogue, Baby!
Jeff and I decided to trade in both of our cars to try to save money, and here she blows: So, now we share this car. It's actually not so bad. I take Jeff to work most days, and then Max and I pick him up when he's done. If Maxer and I don't have anything crazy going on that day, Jeff gets to take it. It's better than having 2 car payments, and 2 insurance payments, and 2 gas tanks to fill. Wouldn't work if we were still living in Maricopa, so, it's a blessing to be at the Moussers for a little while. Anyways, we love the Rogue!!! So fun to drive!

Happy Halloween
Maxer was the cutest Giraffe for halloween and we went to a lot of festivities! 2 Friends halloween parties, 1 Ward Halloween Party, Boo at the Zoo, Trick or Treating and Mousser Family Halloween Party. We trick-or-treated to three houses (Johnstons, McMullins and Painters) Somewhere along the way, he acquired a blue-raspberry lollipop, which to the great surprise of G&G Mousser, and Dada, Mommy let him try....
He wouldn't let go! He macked on that thing on Mommy's Lap for about 10 mintues before we pried it from his sticky paws for Tubby Time...we asked him what a lizard says so we could see his blue tongue. Soooo cute! That was max's first Candy!

Building the Mouse Trap

Greetings from Arizona!
So, I'm a copy-cat...and because everybody else was starting up a blog, I am too! So, here we are. My hopes for this is to be a quick and easy way to highlight the goings on at Team Mousser. So, look for updated pics of Max...is he the cutest?..and maybe a few family pictures, and a few of the fun things that we do. Hope you enjoy!
